FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS WITH ABAQUS FOR EVERYBODY

FEA is hard, unless you understand the whole problem

finite element analysis with abaqus for everybody course

Lots of real simulation examples supported by theoretical foundations

Different types of analysis: static, heat transfer, modal, buckling...

Debugging of convergence problems

Verification of numerical results

Selection of the right finite element for your simulation

Best practices for FE modeling and meshing techniques

My name is Miguel Herráez, I am an expert in simulation and Computational Mechanics with Abaqus and Python

I studied Industrial Engineering at Carlos III University of Madrid, finishing my BSc in West Virginia University (USA)

After one year working at Airbus Military, I started my Phd on Mechanics of Composite Materials at IMDEA Materials Institute

Over that period, I worked as visitting researcher at NASA Langley Research Center (VA)

Upon completion of my Phd, I moved to Switzerland to work as post-doctoral researcher at EPFL (Lausanne).
